Go Plant Expands First-Class Fleet

Go Plant has demonstrated its ongoing commitment to product excellence and customer service by investing more than £6million in new equipment, which will see 53 brand new vehicles added to its fleet over the coming year.

A range of truck mounted sweepers have been ordered, including 51 VT651 road sweepers on Euro 6 DAF chassis and two VT801 sweepers. The high-performing vehicles will be supplied throughout the coming months, with the first 10 being delivered into Go Plant’s new Welwyn Garden City depot which has been up and running since January.

“We work hard to ensure we fully understand and support the ever-changing needs of our customers, and our recent investment in our fleet truly reflects this,” explained Paul Langham, Go Plant’s Managing Director.

“With a growing range of high-specification vehicles maintained to the highest of standards, we pride ourselves in providing tailored and flexible hire solutions for our customers – whether they require contract, short-term rental, or operated hire.”

Making up the bulk of the order, the recently launched new-generation DAF VT651 truck-mounted sweeper boasts better fuel consumption and lower emissions than ever before. This not only maintains operating costs, but helps improve air quality scores and reduce noise pollution levels, which in turn ensures that Go Plant meet the ever-changing sustainability requirements of its customers.

“The first of our new vehicles have just been delivered, with all 40 plus set to be commissioned into service by mid-August 2014,” added Paul. “At Go Plant we’ve built our renowned reputation by consistently providing the highest specification vehicles with the latest technologies, and intend to maintain our position as market leaders by adding more than 40 additional vehicles to our fleet next year.”
