Go Plant Limited has purchased the trading activity of North West Site Sweepers to compliment its Cheshire-based North West Service Centre, which has seen it take on five drivers from the company, as well as appoint Michael Merwin as the new Area Sales Representative.
Shaun Wilson, Manager of Go Plant’s North West depot, explained: “Due to ongoing increases in our client base, we were keen to invest in the service centre and take on new staff to keep up with demand, and North West Site Sweepers was a perfect fit for us to do this.”
Go Plant’s purchase of the activity has seen it take on five of North West Site Sweepers’ former employees, who have now all been awarded the relevant health and safety accreditations, as well as being in full possession of their Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).

Michael Merwin, formerly with North West Site Sweepers who has joined Go Plant in a new Area Sales Representative role, added: “I’m delighted to become part of the Go Plant’s team, and am looking forward to working with customers in the area, as well as making new contacts in the near future.”
