Go Plant Lead the Way by Helping with Storm Babet Clean-up

It’s been a tough weekend for the majority of people in the UK, after the recent visit of Storm Babet. While the clean-up efforts begin, our guys at the Barnsley Depot have been hard at work helping!

Despite the devastation caused by Storm Babet, Go Plant are proud of the efforts of our Yorkshire drivers, working around the clock to help. Darren White, Hire Manager for our Yorkshire Depot, said “It’s been a hard weekend, but I’m massively impressed by our driver’s eagerness to get out and help, no matter what the job. The clean-ups not finished though, and we’re all on standby to help where needed.”

One of the more unique jobs over the weekend was attending an incident at Leeds/Bradford Airport after a TUI flight came off the runway due to the conditions. Our drivers Chris Rowbotham, Adrian Siceu, Callum Wright, Michael Hunt and William Underwood were on the scene as soon as they could and were able to assist with the recovery efforts.
