GPL launched itself into the 2009/10 winter maintenance campaign by recycling 4 Scania 6 x 4 ex refuse collection chassis and re-mounting with Schmidt Stratos gritting bodies and snow plough. Not only good for the planet in terms of carbon reduction through recycling the chassis. It was extremely timely as the worst winter for a generation gripped the UK. All vehicles were snapped up for the season ending March 2010 and provisional bookings are already being taken for 2010/11 season.
